Are you a runner? If so, what's your favorite place to jog/run, and what's the furthest you've ever gone in one shot?

On board the ship I like to run in the science halls. Don't tell Commander Spock or Lieutenant Paula. But his halls are usually the clearest so I can run for long time before encountering anyone and generally I don't have to worry about bumping into anyone at all.

I have run a marathon, twenty six miles. It was enjoyable. Runners highs are fun, almost as fun as sex.

Star Trek has been a cultural phenomenon for decades, from TOS Kirk chewing up the scenery to reboot Kirk sky-diving from orbit. Why do you think this show has captivated so many viewers, both young and old? Do you wish the Trek vision of the human race's future would come true?
I do not understand TOS or chewing up the scenery but this seems to be a reference to our ship. It is awesome and we are all awesome. I think the credit goes to the bridge crew and Doctor McCoy. We are the smartest and the best of what we do. Captain Kirk expects nothing less.

What is one of your favorite scientific discoveries and how has it impacted your life?

I think the best invention was the still. It was invented in Russia after all, so we could make Vodka.

Ready, set, engage -- who gets your vote for the best Star Trek captain? What is it about them that puts them at the top of the list?

Captain Pike was a very good Captain, but I am finding much more interesting things serving under Captain Kirk.

656. I got distracted after that.

Pavel rubbed his cheek ruefully. Ah well, Katie had been fun while she lasted but this was RISA. He couldn't help wanting to flirt a bit. The Captain was tied up with the Doctor so it fell to him to uphold the Enterprise's reputation. A horrible chore to be sure, but one that he was entirely able for. He'd just need to cozen one of the nurses into regenerating the bruise if one formed. That's why he didn't go after anyone from medical.

In the meantime a run would be a good idea, while the latest marks of passion faded or decided to bruise up.
